Copper Wire Wrapped Polymer Clay Necklace

Description

This one was a lot of fun to make. I enjoy playing with polymer clay. I love adding textures and playing with different ways to add color. This one, I painted each area a different color to go with the designs in the texture. Warm yellow with just a hint of green, cool blue and purple, accents pink and silver. To finish off the handmade cabochon, added a crystal rivoli that changes colors when the light hits it from different angles.

I set the cabochon in a wire wrapped copper setting with abstract leaves that seem to be blowing in the wind.

The wire used is uncoated, natural copper.
Pendant hangs from a black faux leather braided necklace.

Pendant is approximately 2 1/8″ (55mm) wide and 2 1/4″ (58mm) long. Necklace is  18″ (45cm) long.
